What are your educational goals?

October we begin our next educational goal of reading readiness, focusing on learning the alphabet. Education is very important to us at KIDZ BIZZ and our staff all work extremely hard at creating learning opportunities for each and every child who comes and visits us no matter how short their stay. So below is this quarters central question:

What is the most important educational goal for your child/ how are you going to achieve this goal? And how can KIDZ BIZZ help you?

How do we Prepare our children for the future?

Globalization is a familiar term of today, and in our society it is vitally important that our children are globally competitive, as they are competing for careers across the globe against children from every other country of the world. So how do we make our children competitive?

During a recent course on globalization there were a few crucial points observed:

  1. We need to teach children to learn how to be learners.
  2. They need to be able to solve problems creatively as well as logically.
  3. They need to be able to use technology and stay on the forefront of new technologies.
  4. And they must be able to work as part of a globally diverse team, linked via technology, across the globe.

We Americans are very culturally knowledgeable; however what you notice, as a difference between our education and that of our overseas counterparts is that they tend to be more linguistically versed than ourselves, knowing, often more than one language.

So our central question on this BLOG is how do we prepare our children for the 21st Century?

KIDZ BIZZ Drop-In Childcare

Hello,
This is my first blog and quite frankly I am really unsure what to do. So here goes!
The intent of this blog is to provide an open dialog for parents to communicate with KID BIZZ in a free and open manner, a kind of online PTO.
At KIDZ BIZZ we consider it the customers business, that being the case we wish to provide a forum where parents can communicate their idea's, needs, wants etc. As well as posting any questions associated with child care, education, child development. And quite frankly anything constructive which comes to mind.
So I hope this works out and I look forward to talking to everyone.
