What are your educational goals?

October we begin our next educational goal of reading readiness, focusing on learning the alphabet. Education is very important to us at KIDZ BIZZ and our staff all work extremely hard at creating learning opportunities for each and every child who comes and visits us no matter how short their stay. So below is this quarters central question:

What is the most important educational goal for your child/ how are you going to achieve this goal? And how can KIDZ BIZZ help you?

For our family, reading readiness takes first priority in educational goals during the preschool years, but it is very important to us to explore a wide variety of educational topics and opportunities with our kids. Science museums, aquariums, parks, nature walks, the beach, library...

Everything you do from cooking dinner to going for a walk is educational if you talk to your kids about what you see and find and do. I guess we have two big goals: reading & exploring!

Thank you for your wonderful comment, maybe museum field trips would be a fun?

Field trips may be hard to arrange from a drop-in situation... i don't know. But even if trips aren't in the works, reading books and learning letters, numbers & social skills are all easy to do "right from home."

I appreciate how safe and comfortable my daughter feels at Kidz Bizz. That's one major asset that's worth its weight in gold!

Thank you.

I think a nice offering might be to teach study/organizational skills to some of the older school age kids that come in. That is something that is not often specifically addressed in school and it is SO important.
